Cotter Medical History Museum

The Cotter Medical History Museum collects, preserves and displays artefacts of a medical nature. Its collection has been designated as being of National Significance by Te Papa Tongarewa, and includes school dental clinics, period doctor's surgeries and operating theatres, plus exhibits on instruments, microscopes, obstetrics, nursing and quackery. The museum has relocated to a new collections and research facility in Templeton, Christchurch.
