Instituto Luiz de Albuquerque
The Instituto Luiz de Albuquerque is a cultural institution in Corumbá, Mato Grosso do Sul, preserving the history and heritage of the Pantanal region. Named after Portuguese colonial governor Luís de Albuquerque de Melo Pereira e Cáceres, who founded Corumbá in 1778, the institute promotes regional culture and history. The institute was temporarily closed for renovation works as of late 2025.
