Fundação Padre Ibiapina - Diocese do Crato

The Fundação Padre Ibiapina, in Crato in the Cariri region of Ceará, is the direct heir of the development project initiated in 1868 by Padre Ibiapina. Today it is a charitable foundation of the Diocese of Crato that preserves the legacy of the priest's social work and continues social, educational and cultural projects in the region. It also functions as a memorial site documenting Padre Ibiapina's life and the Casas de Caridade he founded across the Northeast of Brazil.
