Memorial da Imigração e Cultura Japonesa da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul

The Memorial da Imigração e Cultura Japonesa da UFRGS was created in 2009 alongside the Nucleus of Japanese Studies at the Institute of Letters of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. The institution preserves materials related to Japanese immigration to Rio Grande do Sul and maintains over 1,500 works covering traditional and modern Japanese culture, migration history, and related subjects. Visits occur in the afternoons and must be scheduled in advance by email or phone.
