Instituto Cultural Engenho Central - Museu da Cana

The Museu da Cana (Sugarcane Museum), part of the Instituto Cultural Engenho Central, preserves the industrial heritage of Brazil's sugar cane industry at the historic Usina Schmidt site between Sertãozinho and Pontal in São Paulo state. Opened in 2013 after the adaptation of the 19th-century industrial complex, the museum explores how the sugar cane industry shaped the history and economy of the region and Brazil through its collection, exhibitions, and educational programs.
