Fort Museum of the Northwest Mounted Police

The Fort Museum of the Northwest Mounted Police is located in Fort Macleod, Alberta, the original site of one of the first NWMP posts in western Canada. The museum tells the story of the North-West Mounted Police, their role in establishing law and order on the western frontier, and the cultural history of the region, including a renowned Musical Ride performance.
