DeBolt & District Pioneer Museum, incorporated in 1975, has grown from one small log building to tell the many stories of the Peace Country community.
From the beautiful Bickell paleontology display, to First Nations items, early settlement and farming, homemaking, bee keeping, on to cattlemen with rodeo and sports history, each building has its own items of interest.
The DeBolt & District Museum Society has also produced four local history books (Across the Smoky, DeBolt Country Club and Agricultural Society 60th Anniversary, Edson to Grande Prairie trail, and Bridges to the Past).
All exhibits in the Heritage Buildings are permanent exhibits within the DeBolt & District Museum. Some of the sites you can visit include:
