Britannia Mine Museum

Britannia Mine Museum is an award-winning National Historic Site in Britannia Beach, British Columbia, that brings the story of one of the British Commonwealth's largest copper mines to life. Visitors can rumble aboard a mine train through an early haulage tunnel on the Underground Mine Tour, experience the multi-sensory BOOM! light, sound and special-effects show inside the historic 20-storey Mill, pan for gold, and explore self-guided exhibits on the social history of the Britannia Beach community. The site also includes the Chatterbox Café, a gift shop, and offers school and group bookings, site rental and filming.
