Casa de Oliveira Vianna
Casa de Oliveira Vianna is the former home of the Brazilian sociologist, jurist, and historian Oliveira Vianna, located in the Fonseca district of Niterói. Now operated by FUNARJ (Fundação Anita Mantuano de Artes do Estado do Rio de Janeiro), it functions as a research center with a collection of approximately 12,000 books, pamphlets, and periodicals, alongside personal correspondence with figures such as Gustavo Capanema, Monteiro Lobato, and Getúlio Vargas. The house preserves Vianna's furniture, paintings, porcelain, crystals, and personal objects—including the chair and typewriter where he worked—and is open to researchers by prior appointment.
