Kelowna Museums Society

The Kelowna Museums Society operates three museum sites in downtown Kelowna, British Columbia, on the unceded traditional territory of the syilx/Okanagan people. The Okanagan Heritage Museum is the flagship location, exploring the geological history of the Okanagan Valley, the world of the syilx hosts, and the story of traders and settlers. The Okanagan Military Museum preserves and presents Okanagan military heritage through uniforms, insignia, badges, firearms, and personal stories. The Laurel Packinghouse is one of Kelowna's most historic buildings — the oldest and largest packinghouse in BC — combining atmospheric event space with museum exhibits on the Okanagan wine and orchard industry.
