Midwinter Heritage Site is a century old one room School House Museum. The School has been used as a dance hall, a church, a drop-in-centre and a library over the years. The Museum reflects all of that. We also have exhibits on pioneer life in the area. Men were wood-cutters, families had farms and East Braintree once had a provincial prison. We also have exhibits regarding the GWWD aqueduct, the Red Cross Nursing Station, prospecting in the area, and fashion from 1917 to 1968.
