MuNDA – Museo Nazionale d'Abruzzo is Italy's national museum in L'Aquila, presenting a rich selection of artworks spanning from the Medieval period through the Modern era. Operating across three sites – a historic 16th-century castle, the Parco Archeologico di Amiternum (theater and amphitheater), and the Ex Mattatoio in Borgo Rivera – the museum recently reopened its landmark castle venue in December 2025 following restoration.
