Museo della Lana - Scanno

The Museo dell'Arte della Lana (Museum of the Art of Wool) is housed in the restored historic Lanificio di Stia wool mill complex in Casentino, Tuscany. The museum traces the history of wool production from prehistoric times through the Industrial Revolution and the golden age of the Stia mill. Visitors enjoy an immersive sensory experience — touching, smelling, listening, and participating in hands-on wool-crafting activities. Educational workshops and guided tours are available by booking.
