Museo della Lettera d'Amore

The Museo della Lettera d'Amore (Museum of the Love Letter) in Torrevecchia Teatina, Chieti, is a unique museum — the only one of its kind in the world — dedicated to preserving love letters. Housed in the historic 18th-century Palazzo Valignani, it holds around 25,000 letters collected through its long-running international competition and donations, including historically significant epistolaries. The museum also hosts the annual Premio Lettera d'Amore competition, open internationally.
