Museo Michele Tedesco e dell’Ottocento Lucano
The Museo Michele Tedesco e dell'Ottocento Lucano is part of the Aiello museum system in Moliterno, in the Basilicata region of southern Italy. It is dedicated to Michele Tedesco (1834–1917), one of the most celebrated painters of nineteenth-century Basilicata, whose work depicted the landscapes, people, and traditions of the Lucanian countryside. The museum forms part of a broader cultural complex that includes a Museo del Paesaggio, a Museum of Contemporary Art, a Museum of Ceramics (Ceramica), a Museum of Modern Art, and a space dedicated to the designer Riccardo Dalisi, making Moliterno one of the most culturally rich small towns in the Italian south.
