Archivio Generale Arcivescovile di Bologna

The Archivio Generale Arcivescovile di Bologna preserves documentation of the Bolognese Church from the Middle Ages to the present day. The archive houses approximately 70 collections spanning five kilometres of shelving with tens of thousands of archival units, including numerous ecclesiastical and private archives from the 10th century onward.
