Museo Archeologico Nazionale Di Reggio Calabria
The Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Reggio Calabria (MArRC) is one of Italy's most important archaeological museums, celebrated above all as the home of the Bronzi di Riace — two monumental Greek bronze warrior statues recovered from the sea in 1972 and dated to around 460–450 BC. The museum's collections chart the art and culture of Magna Graecia and Calabria from prehistory through the early medieval period, including an exceptional array of Greek ceramics, coins, architectural terracottas, and the celebrated pinakes (votive tablets) from the sanctuary of Persephone at Locri Epizefiri.
