Castello dell'Ettore

Castello dell'Ettore is a recently restored medieval castle described by its operators as an "open-air museum," located in Apice Vecchia (Benevento) — an abandoned village often called the "Pompeii of the 1900s." About 15 km from Benevento, the castle hosts art and culture events, Christmas markets, and is also used as a venue for weddings and ceremonies, with halls and the surrounding borgo open to visitors.
