McAdam Railway Station

The McAdam Railway Station is a National Historic Site and a jewel of Canadian railway architecture in the village of McAdam, New Brunswick, near the Maine border. Built by the Canadian Pacific Railway, the grand château-style stone station served generations of rail travellers and remains one of the finest preserved historic stations in Atlantic Canada. Today it operates as a museum, visitor information centre, and Canadian Pacific Heritage Railway Museum, telling the story of when riding the rail was the only way to travel. The site includes a nature trail around McAdam Pond, with views of the historic station and a small covered bridge, as well as a gift shop.
