La Mortella is a celebrated Mediterranean and subtropical garden on the island of Ischia, created from 1956 by Susana Walton and designed by legendary landscape architect Russell Page. The garden is divided into a lower valley garden and an upper terraced hillside section, featuring fountains, rare exotic plants, and cultural venues. It is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful gardens in Italy.
