MUSEO DE LOS FUEROS

The Museo de los Fueros in Sepulveda, Segovia, is dedicated to the historical fueros (charters of rights and local laws) that governed medieval Castilian communities. Sepulveda's fuero, granted in 1076, is one of the oldest known municipal charters in Castile. The museum presents the history, significance, and legacy of these foundational legal documents in the development of local governance and civic rights in medieval Spain.
