The Bibliothèque de l'Assemblée Nationale was established by law in March 1796 and serves as the official reference library for France's National Assembly. Housed in a magnificent 1834 building measuring 42 meters long with five domed bays, its collections span 18 kilometers of shelving and encompass legislative reference works, legal texts, and parliamentary heritage materials.
