Maison Natale de Louis Braille
The Maison Natale de Louis Braille (Louis Braille Birthplace Museum) in Coupvray, Seine-et-Marne, is the birthplace of Louis Braille (1809–1852), the inventor of the Braille writing system used by blind and visually impaired people worldwide. The museum features the original house, a sensory garden, and exhibits tracing the history of Braille and the education of blind people.
