Museo Correale di Terranova, orario di apertura

Museo Correale di Terranova is a house museum in Sorrento, housed in the former summer residence of the Correale di Terranova family, known as Villa alla Rota. Founded in the early 20th century from a bequest by Count Alfredo Correale, it is one of the finest decorative arts museums in southern Italy. The collection spans several floors and includes Neapolitan and Italian paintings from the 17th to 19th centuries — with works by Aniello Ascione, Andrea Belvedere, Nicola Casissa, Giacinto Gigante, Antoon Sminck Pitloo, and Theodore Duclère — alongside applied arts, Capodimonte and Meissen porcelain, coral work, furniture, and Neapolitan clock-making. A ground-floor archaeological section displays Greek and Roman finds from the Sorrento area. The museum also has a research library and a landscaped garden-park overlooking the Bay of Naples. It is open Tuesday through Sunday, closed Monday.
