Maison de Victor Hugo
The Maisons de Victor Hugo manage two historic residences where the celebrated French author Victor Hugo once lived: the Paris apartment at Place des Vosges and Hauteville House on the island of Guernsey. Both locations preserve Hugo's personal furnishings, artworks, and literary legacy, offering visitors an intimate look at the life of one of France's greatest writers. The Paris museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10am to 6pm, and both venues host rotating exhibitions on Hugo's work and influence.
