Fort Beaufort Museum

Fort Beaufort Historical Museum is a dynamic small-town museum situated in the heart of Eastern Cape Frontier country. Housed in the old Officer's Mess building, the museum features militaria, guns, ethnological items, oil paintings by Thomas Baines, and a Victorian blacksmith's shop, representing the history of all peoples and events of the Fort Beaufort area.
