The Instituto Burle Marx (BMI) is dedicated to the legacy of renowned Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx. The institute views its collection as seeds that inspire knowledge exchange to rethink the experience of urban life. It has acquired Casa Cavanelas, a modernist Brazilian icon, to house its landscaping collection with a public opening anticipated in 2028.
