Atlantic Salmon Museum
The Atlantic Salmon Museum in Doaktown, New Brunswick, tells the story of Atlantic salmon and the rich angling heritage of the Miramichi River, one of the world's most celebrated salmon rivers. Located on the banks of the Southwest Miramichi at 263 Main Street, the museum houses more than 3,000 artefacts, a small aquarium, a gift shop and well-maintained grounds with picnic areas. It sits roughly midway between Fredericton and Miramichi City and is a key cultural stop along Route 8.
