Black Cultural Centre For Nova Scotia

The Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia is a Black history museum and cultural gathering place in Cherry Brook, Nova Scotia. Established in 1983 by the Black Cultural Society of Nova Scotia, the Centre is dedicated to protecting, preserving, and promoting the history and culture of African Nova Scotians and Canada's oldest and longest-standing Black communities. It offers exhibits on slavery, the Loyalists, the Maroons, the Refugees, Caribbean migrants, and the No. 2 Construction Battalion, as well as tours, school programs, and rentable facilities.
