Campbell Carriage Factory Museum
The Campbell Carriage Factory Museum, operated by the Tantramar Heritage Trust in Sackville, New Brunswick, preserves one of the best-existing examples of a 19th-century industrial site in Eastern North America. Built in 1838, the factory operated continuously until 1951 and is designated as both a provincial and a national historic site. Over 6,000 artefacts discovered when the building reopened form the basis of the museum's exhibits, which include carriages, sleighs and a working blacksmith shop.
