Castle Hill National Historic Site

Castle Hill National Historic Site is a Parks Canada site in Newfoundland marking an 18th-century stone fort overlooking Placentia Bay. It interprets the period when British and French forces battled for control of the lucrative Newfoundland fishery, with activities, trails, audio tours and a visitor centre. Open seasonally from June through October.
