Fire Fighters Museum of Winnipeg

The Winnipeg Firefighters Museum is housed in a 1904 fire hall that served Winnipeg's fire service for 86 years until 1990. Two floors of memorabilia tell the triumphs and tragedies of the city's fire service, and the original apparatus bay displays antique vehicles including an 1882 hand-drawn hose reel, a 1900 horse-drawn hose wagon, an 1882 "Alex Logan" Ronald Steamer and 20th-century LaFrance and Mack pumpers. Prized artifacts include the personal items of Chief William "Fighting Billy" Code.
