Fort Anne National Historic Site

Fort Anne National Historic Site is Canada's first administered National Historic Site and one of the most hotly contested pieces of land on the continent. Located in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, the site chronicles Scottish, French, and English settlement struggles, with involvement of the Mi'kmaq peoples.
