Fort Whoop-Up - Galt Museum & Archives
Fort Whoop-Up tells the story of the buffalo robe trade, the 19th-century fur trade, and the diverse peoples who called the Oldman River Valley home over the centuries. The site offers interactive experiences and authentic narratives about Southwestern Alberta's past from Indigenous, Métis, and settler perspectives. Affiliated with the Galt Museum & Archives, it offers free admission for self-identified Indigenous visitors.
