French Shore Interpretation Centre

The French Shore Interpretation Centre in Conche, Newfoundland orients visitors to the region's layered history through images and artifacts that tell the story of the cod fishery — from early French sailors through to the outport communities of Irish and English Newfoundlanders. The Centre is also home to the French Shore Tapestry, a striking textile that retells the French Shore story. Exhibits continue at authentic historic sites in the surrounding communities.
