Glaciarium

The Glaciarium in El Calafate, Patagonia, is a glaciological interpretation centre dedicated to disseminating knowledge of the Patagonian Ice Field and its glaciers — one of the few such centres in the world. Visitors can explore a permanent exhibition, learn about the history of the Perito Moreno glacier and El Calafate, enjoy the Glaciobar (a bar built of ice), the Café Glaciarium, an Eco Shop and rotating exhibitions, alongside research and education programmes.
