Museo Nacional Casa del Acuerdo

The Museo Nacional Casa del Acuerdo in San Nicolás de los Arroyos preserves the historic house where the Acuerdo de San Nicolás was signed on 31 May 1852. This landmark agreement between the governors of the Argentine provinces laid the groundwork for the organisation of the Argentine Confederation and the drafting of the Constitution of 1853, which remains the basis of Argentina's constitutional order. The museum presents permanent and temporary exhibitions on the Acuerdo and its significance for Argentine history, and offers educational resources for primary school students. Entry is free.
