Museo Casa del Che Guevara
Museo Casa del Che occupies the house in Alta Gracia, Argentina, where Ernesto "Che" Guevara spent a significant part of his childhood and adolescence. The family moved to Alta Gracia in 1932 when Ernesto was four years old, seeking the town's dry climate as a treatment for his severe asthma, and remained there until around 1943. The museum preserves the original family home, known as Villa Nydia, and documents Guevara's formative years through personal objects, photographs, and archival documents. Exhibitions trace the social and political environment that shaped him, from his early friendships with Spanish Civil War refugees in Alta Gracia to the beginnings of his political consciousness. The museum is administered by the national cultural authority and forms part of the broader Guevara heritage in the city of Córdoba province.
