Museo de Arte Español Enrique Larreta

The Museo de Arte Español Enrique Larreta is housed in the former home of Argentine writer Enrique Larreta (1875–1961), a beautifully restored colonial-style mansion in the Belgrano neighbourhood of Buenos Aires. The museum holds an outstanding collection of medieval and Renaissance Spanish decorative arts, including religious objects, paintings, tapestries, furniture, and ceramics, assembled by Larreta during his years in Spain. The Jardín Andaluz — a lush garden recreating the atmosphere of Moorish Andalusia — is one of the museum's most celebrated features.
