Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires

The Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires, founded in 1956, is located at Avenida San Juan 350 in the historic San Telmo neighbourhood, housed in a converted early twentieth-century tobacco factory. The museum's collection spans Argentine modern art from the 1940s to the present, with particular strength in conceptual art, pop art, kinetic art, and the Argentine avant-garde movements of the 1960s and 1970s. Key works by Antonio Berni, Luis Felipe Noé, Kenneth Kemble, Marta Minujín, and Liliana Porter are held in the permanent collection.
