Böhmerwaldmuseum Wien
The Böhmerwaldmuseum Wien preserves the history and stories of the lost German-speaking culture of the Bohemian Forest (Böhmerwald) and the Erzgebirge. Through its collections — household items, finely crafted textiles, historic documents, postcards, photographs, and a wide-ranging library — visitors discover the home region of writer Adalbert Stifter and the everyday life of communities that were once tightly intertwined with Austria. The museum offers space for genealogical research and immersion in the region's heritage.
