The Fälschermuseum (Museum of Art Fakes) in Vienna, opposite the Hundertwasserhaus, is the world's only dedicated museum of art forgeries. The small private museum tells the spectacular criminal stories behind authentic forged works by famous fakers including Han van Meegeren, Konrad Kujau, Edgar Mrugalla, Lothar Malskat, Eric Hebborn, Tom Keating, Elmyr de Hory and John Myatt, while explaining how to distinguish original, copy and forgery.
