The Haus der Geschichte Österreich (hdgö) is Austria's first national history museum, located in the Neue Burg on Heldenplatz in Vienna. Founded in 2018, it focuses on the history of Austria from 1918 to the present, with permanent and special exhibitions on democracy, society, and the major events of the 20th and 21st centuries.
