Bezirksmuseum Floridsdorf

The Bezirksmuseum Floridsdorf is housed in the Mautner-Schlössl, the former residence of the Mautner Markhof family, originally built in 1900 in Secessionist style and later remodeled in Baroque form. It presents the history of Vienna's 21st district with a focus on workers' and everyday life, and includes dedicated memorial rooms for former Federal President and Vienna mayor Franz Jonas, who came from Floridsdorf, and for Ludwig van Beethoven, who frequently visited Jedlsee.
