Heimatmuseum Wilfersdorf
The Liechtenstein Schloss Wilfersdorf is the ancestral castle of the reigning line of the House of Liechtenstein and, since 2005, a designated 'Top Excursion Destination' in Lower Austria. It combines a museum with a Liechtenstein-Ausstellung (open 1 April – 1 November), a heimatkundliche Sammlung in the side tract (currently being renovated), changing contemporary-art exhibitions in the Festsaal, and a Schlossfestival, alongside a Heuriger and Vinothek. A monthly guided tour with academic curator Hans Huysza takes visitors through the family's history; a 'Drei-Schlösser-Tour' bus trip connects Wilfersdorf with the Liechtenstein palaces in Valtice and Lednice.
