Freilichtmuseum Germanengehöft Elsarn

The Germanengehöft Elsarn is an open-air museum in Lower Austria's Straßertale that recreates the everyday life, buildings and customs of the Germanic peoples. Visitors can experience the lifestyle and economic practices of this culture, learn ancient handicraft techniques and explore reconstructed buildings. The museum hosts a Germanenfest in May and October, monthly farmers' markets and a range of workshops, and is also showcased through the Straßertal app.
