Erstes österreichisches Museum für Alltagsgeschichte
The Erstes österreichisches Museum für Alltagsgeschichte (First Austrian Museum for the History of Everyday Life) is located in Neupölla in the Waldviertel region of Lower Austria. Opened in 1997 to mark the 700th anniversary of Neupölla's first documented mention as a market town, the museum focuses on the everyday life and social change of the rural population from the 17th to the 20th century, using the area between Zwettl and Horn as a case study. Its six rooms cover roughly 200 m² and present over 1,000 exhibited objects.
