Evolutionsmuseum Schmiding

The Evolutionsmuseum Schmiding is a museum in Krenglbach, Upper Austria, dedicated to evolution and biodiversity. Visitors take a journey through the history of life, from prehistoric crystals and fossils displayed in a 9-metre walkable globe to life-sized dinosaurs, dioramas of biodiversity hotspots, and exhibits on human cultures. A new "Centre for Biodiversity" opened in 2026 alongside the existing museum and adjacent Aquazoo.
