Freilichtmuseum Hackenschmiede

The Freilichtmuseum Hackenschmiede is an open-air museum showcasing the historical use of water power for hammer forging. Originally documented in 1604, it features three water wheels powering traditional blacksmithing equipment, with live demonstrations and visitor participation available. Acquired by the local Cultural Association in 1968, it reopened as a museum in 1978.
