Altes Forsthaus Freinberg

The Altes Forsthaus Freinberg is a traditional four-sided farmhouse (Vierseithof) once home to the forester family of the Faber-Castell pencil manufacturers, restored by local citizens into a cultural home and meeting centre with museum areas. Exhibits include local history, customs work, clay (Tegel) extraction artifacts related to Faber-Castell pencil production, a dialect room with interactive features, an art gallery, and a restored 1786 grain storage building.
